Built for mission-critical edge and defense applications, it incorporates Intel® Xeon® reliability, availability, and serviceability to deliver the stability required in demanding operating environments, supporting real-time optimization and workload consolidation.
Conduction Cooling for Superior Thermal Performance and System Reliability
Built on a conduction-cooled architecture, the ROC230 Series incorporating heat pipes and heat spreaders, enables efficient thermal management with exceptional durability. Honeycomb ventilation on the top, sides, and rear enables efficient natural convection cooling, ensuring reliable fan operation. By minimizing reliance on forced-air cooling, the platform delivers low-maintenance performance while enhancing resistance to shock and vibration. This rugged design makes it well suited for defense and industrial applications where long-term system reliability is essential.
Flexible Deployment in Space-Constrained Environments
Featuring a compact 1U form factor with a 380 mm short-depth chassis, the ROC230 Series is designed for space-constrained deployments and flexible installation, supporting both rack-mount and standalone configurations. With four swappable SSD bays, the system enables flexible storage configurations, simplified maintenance, and rapid drive replacement to maximize uptime.
High-Bandwidth Networking for Real-Time Mission-Critical Applications
The ROC230 Series features 2 x 50GbE QSFP28 ports and 2 x 10GbE RJ45 ports, delivering the high-bandwidth connectivity required for real-time multi-sensor data fusion and tactical edge computing. A PCIe x16 expansion slot (HHHL) further enhances system versatility, supporting a wide range of high-speed networking, acceleration, storage, and I/O cards to meet evolving application requirements. Meeting the strict MIL-STD-810 requirement for extreme temperature operation from -20°C to 60°C, shock and vibration, the platform enables uncompromising reliability and seamless system integration for defense and edge environments.
