The 14-core CPU, featuring 1 MB of L2 cache per core and a 16 MB shared system L3 cache, delivers up to a 60% performance uplift over the Arm Cortex-A78AE while integrating hardware-based safety mechanisms. This architecture is ideal for AI-accelerated autonomous systems, robotics workloads, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The NV500 further enables low-latency data access and sustained compute efficiency, supporting real-time analytics, sensor fusion, and complex control workloads at the tactical edge.

To accelerate advanced AI workloads, the NV500 integrates the NVIDIA Jetson THOR T5000 GPU, featuring 2,560 CUDA cores based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. Equipped with 5th-gen Tensor Cores and Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) support across 10 TPCs, the platform delivers up to 2 PetaFLOPS of 2070 TFLOPS (FP4 sparse) unmatched AI performance and scalability. This enables efficient deployment of next-generation generative AI models, including VLMs, LLMs, and VLAs, supporting autonomous systems, ISR, and AI-driven decision-making at the edge. Compared to NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin™, it provides up to 7.5× higher AI compute and 3.5× better energy efficiency.

The NV500 is designed with extensive I/O and expansion flexibility to support diverse military requirements. High-speed connectivity includes a 100G QSFP28 interface, HDMI and USB 3.0 via rugged DTL38999 connectors, and a rich set of legacy and control interfaces such as RS-232, USB 2.0, GPIO, CAN bus, and SPI. Multiple expansion options—including I2C, UART, I2S, additional CAN channels, and a 120-pin connector for GMSL camera boards—allow seamless integration with sensors, payloads, and custom peripherals.
