Elevating Military Performance with VPX Technology

VPX (VITA 46/48) is a high-performance, modular computing architecture designed for demanding military and aerospace applications.

It offers enhanced data transfer rates and flexibility, enabling the integration of various components such as CPUs, GPUs, and I/O modules into a single, compact system. VPX’s rugged design ensures reliable operation in harsh environments, making it ideal for use in unmanned systems and advanced military platforms. By adhering to open standards, VPX promotes interoperability among different vendors, facilitating rapid upgrades and adaptations to emerging technologies, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness and mission success in the field.

The SK901-A4500 and SK901-AD5000 are high-performance embedded computing (HPEC) solutions designed for C5ISR mission processing applications. Both cards provide capabilities for low-latency GPGPU processing, real-time ray tracing, deep learning (DL), and AI inferencing. They feature support for PCI Express Gen 4 to enhance data transfer speeds and utilize NVIDIA GPU Direct Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) for efficient data transfer operations. Each card supports one internal Display Port and three active output Display Ports, making them versatile options for advanced military and defense applications.

The 7StarLake SK901-AD5000 and SK901-A4500 are ruggedized OpenVPX 3U embedded GPGPU cards, utilizing the advanced NVIDIA Ampere architecture and NVIDIA RTX™ platform.  Both cards are optimized for AI-enhanced applications, including video processing, sensor data handling, encoding, and decoding, making them ideal solutions for demanding military operations.
