7STARLAKE and Concurrent Real-Time Sign Strategic Partnership MOU to Build Taiwan’s “Digital Defense Shield

-

7STARLAKE, a leading provider of rugged military computing solutions, and U.S.-based Concurrent Real-Time today announced the signing of a strategic partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant milestone in advancing U.S.–Taiwan defense technology cooperation.

As asymmetric warfare increasingly defines the security dynamics of the First Island Chain, strengthening Taiwan’s real-time operational awareness, mission planning capabilities, and high-fidelity battlefield simulation has become a national priority. Through this strategic partnership, 7STARLAKE and Concurrent Real-Time will collaborate to integrate advanced technologies in high-performance military computing, real-time operating system (RTOS) architectures, and digital twin–based simulation platforms to support next-generation defense innovation.

The collaboration aims to contribute to the development of Taiwan’s “digital defense shield” by enabling faster data processing, real-time simulation environments, and enhanced decision-support systems across the electronic battlespace and mission planning domains.

Martin Ting, CEO of 7STARLAKE, and Justin M. Smith, General Manager of Concurrent Real-Time, sign a strategic partnership MOU, marking a significant milestone in advancing U.S.–Taiwan defense technology cooperation.

Concurrent Real-Time is a leading provider of high-performance real-time Linux software and simulation solutions, with decades of experience supporting aerospace and defense programs worldwide. Its solutions support high-fidelity simulation, flight testing, and mission-critical operations, enabling real-time fighter engine monitoring, hypersonic missile trajectory prediction, and electronic warfare simulation—capabilities that are essential for modern military operations and training environments.

The signing ceremony was held as part of a defense technology forum hosted by 7STARLAKE, which brought together industry leaders and technology experts to explore emerging trends in real-time simulation, electronic battlespace modeling, and mission planning. Speakers from Dell Technologies, Concurrent Real-Time and 7STARLAKE shared insights on how high-performance ruggedized computing, digital twin technologies, and real-time operating systems are transforming modern defense infrastructure.

The event highlighted the growing importance of real-time computing and simulation-driven decision support in enabling effective responses to evolving security challenges and in strengthening asymmetric defense capabilities.

7STARLAKE thanks all distinguished guests for witnessing this meaningful moment.
